scx 3405F Image Error please reset printer

Your usb-to-ttl converter must be work without connection to the printer.
Install driver (for USB)
Run HyperTerminal (COM = new COM from usb device) - 115200, 8, no, 1, no
Hyper - running
Test - type letters. See on terminal. Short RX and TX - type letters - look at terminal again.
Reaction of response should be different.
After succes test - connect to the pinter.

USB converter is installed.
hyperterminal run without connecting the printer (only usb-ttl converter).
show "connected" as shown in Figure 1
when pushbutton "ENTER" once one of the lights flashing rapidly.
where to write "Test" and "Short RX and TX". ? Hyperterminal does not allow me to write anything.
is a problem if USB extension 1 meter length? (picture 2)
please help

test converter: write any letter (symbol) from keyboard. terminal no answer
short, connect TX fnd RX pin on converter
again write any symbol from keyboard - terminal must be answer same symbol.
it work ?

before solder jumpers not display this error (unable to oper COM8. PLEASE check your port settings). should or should not soldered jumper?
