scx 3405F Image Error please reset printer

- RX
- TX
- GND

I tried with and without GND, but still nothing appears on hyperterminal. in this picture you can see the wires on the board. .


sometimes connect without this error ((unable to open COM8)  but when I try to write in hyperterminal, error appears "USB Not Recognized".

Now I have some questions
- The printer must be connected to power (power cable)
- USB must be connected to the computer?
- Must be connected all 3 Tx, Rx, Gnd

I have returned. After a day full of nerves I solved the problem with  ”Image Error please reset printer”

What I noticed after all tests:
Usb-ttl converter must necessarily connected directly into the USB port, no USB extension.
- Error (unable to oper COM8. PLEASE check your port settings) has been removed, running hyperterminal in windows XP.
In windows7 did not work, did not allow writing in hyperterminal.

- Correct position solder wire is Rx Tx GND, + jumper on the back of the motherboard
